Melvin Polidano
Darren Cordina
Melvin Polidano, the founding partner, embarked on his academic journey at the University of Malta, where he first succeeded with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree alongside a degree in Social Studies. Subsequently, he earned a Diploma of Notary Public, followed by being granted the warrant of Notary Public in 2016, officially qualifying him to practice as a notary in Malta.
Further advancing his legal expertise, he successfully acquired a Doctor of Laws degree, with his doctoral thesis focusing on ship recycling.
Throughout his career, Melvin has established himself as a highly respected figure in the field of private notarial practice. His extensive experience includes specialisation in a wide variety of legal issues, ranging from property transfers to wills to other contracts.
Melvin’s deep knowledge of civil law enables him to offer well-rounded legal advice and solutions to clients in need of notarial services. This combination of academic achievement, specialized legal focus, and practical experience has made Melvin Polidano a trusted professional in Malta’s legal and notarial communities.

Darren Cordina has achieved significant academic milestones throughout his career, reflecting both his dedication to personal development and his diverse expertise. He first earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Malta in 2005, followed by a Master of Science in Waste and Resource Management from the Cranfield University in 2008.
His academic focus shifted towards law in the later stages of his education. He continued his studies at the University of Malta, earning a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2019, followed by a Master of Advocacy in 2020 and a Master of Notarial Studies in 2021. Darren successfully passed his warrant exam, officially qualifying him to practise law in Malta later on in 2021.
Darren’s ability to blend the practise of advocacy and notarial work gives him a comprehensive understanding of Malta’s legal framework. His expertise and experience in both public and private administration and management enrich his contribution to the legal field particularly in areas such as civil law, property law, and contract law. His understanding of both the legal and regulatory environments, combined with his broad academic background, makes him a well-rounded professional capable of providing detailed and strategic legal advice.

Francesca Zammit
Francesca achieved significant academic milestones at the University of Malta, earning a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2018, followed by a Master of Advocacy in 2019 and a Master of Notarial Studies in 2022.
In 2020, Francesca successfully passed her warrant exam, officially qualifying her to practise law in Malta. She became a member of our team that same year, bringing her expertise and passion for law to contribute to the team.
Francesca specialises in a variety of key legal areas, where she demonstrates both precision and efficiency, including ground rent redemption and immovable property transfers, helping clients navigate complex property matters with ease. She also conducts drafting of contracts and thorough search evaluations.

Having successfully earned her Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Malta in 2021, Sara seamlessly transitioned to joining the firm in the same year.
In her role, Sara manages a broad range of critical tasks, from overseeing immovable property transfers and corporate loans for high-end clients, to drafting contracts and validating searches. She approaches each responsibility with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of her work. Sara also plays a key role in fostering clear, effective communication between financial institutions, clients, and the firm, ensuring smooth and successful outcomes.

Desirei Grech
Notary Public
Desirei completed her academic studies at the University of Malta, where she first earned a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2019, followed by a Master of Notarial Studies in 2020 and a Master of Advocacy in 2021. She successfully passed her warrant exam in 2023, officially qualifying her to practise as a notary in Malta.
Desirei’s contribution to the office includes the publication of various deeds, providing legal transparency and protecting the rights of all parties involved, whilst ensuring that contracts are executed properly and in compliance with the law.

Kylie Grixti
Notary Trainee
Kylie holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Master of Notarial Studies from the University of Malta after having graduated in 2021 and 2022 respectively. She joined our office in 2021, demonstrating her early commitment and professional drive.
Kylie is highly knowledgeable in the drafting of contracts, and is highly skilled in examining title to properties. Kylie also plays a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication between clients and financial institutions, facilitating seamless interactions between clients and banks.

Naomi Hili
Notary Trainee
Naomi completed her academic journey at the University of Malta, earning a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree in 2021, followed by a Master of Notarial Studies in 2022. She joined our team in February 2022, demonstrating a strong commitment to her work.
Naomi’s responsibilities includes the management of transfer of immovable property ensuring smooth transactions for our clients. She is highly skilled in contract drafting and thorough search validation. Naomi also fosters effective communication with both financial institutions and clients.

Daniel Camilleri
Notary Trainee
Daniel graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Malta in 2023, followed by a Master in Notarial Studies in 2024. He began his professional journey with our team in 2020. Since then, he has played a key role in providing high-quality legal support across a range of area.
His areas of specialisation includes contract drafting, tailored to our clients' needs. He handles succession matters, guiding clients through the complexities of wills, estates, and inheritance, helping ensure that assets are distributed according to their wishes. Additionally, he manages the smooth transfer of immovable property, distribution of assets and division of estates.

Luca Micallef
Notary Trainee
Luca completed his Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree at the University of Malta in 2022, followed by a Master of Notarial Studies in 2023. He joined our team in February 2022, applying both his academic background and practical skills to support the office’s operations.
Luca’s primary focus includes managing transfers of immovable property by conducting thorough evaluations to verify property details, such as ownership. He also ensures that agreements are clear, binding, and protect the interests of all parties involved. In addition, Luca establishes connections with financial institutions and clients, helping facilitate necessary financing and ensuring smooth transactions.

Katriona French
Notary Trainee
Katriona graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Malta in 2023, followed by a Master in Notarial Studies in 2024. She joined our team in 2021.
Katriona’s primary area of practice focuses on transfers of immovable property, contract drafting, and documentation preparation. She ensures that all legal requirements are met, guiding clients through the process with precision to ensure smooth and legally sound transactions, whilst preparing the necessary documentation for such transactions.

Lyndsay Farrugia
Lyndsay completed her academic journey at the University of Malta, earning a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree in 2021, followed by a Master of Notarial Studies in 2022. She joined our team in 2021.
Lyndsay is responsible for the registration of deeds with the Land Registry. She ensures that all deeds relating to immovable property that fall within a registration area in Malta are duly recorded.
In addition, Lyndsay assists staff members in various tasks as assigned.

Cristina Haig

Cristina holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Master of Notarial Studies from the University of Malta having graduated in 2023 and 2024 respectively. She has been a part of our team since 2019.
Her primary area of focus involves conducting thorough customer due diligence and ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. This critical responsibility requires a keen understanding of financial and legal frameworks, as well as the ability to identify and assess potential risks associated with clients and/or transactions.
Cristina attends several courses related to anti-money laundering throughout the year to actively keep our office fully aligned with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.

Keldrone Cortis
Legal Assistant
Keldrone joined our team in 2024, bringing with him a strong sense of dedication and commitment.
His area of focus includes the registration of deeds, which requires an eye for detail and technical knowledge. He is responsible for ensuring that all required documentation is processed efficiently and submitted on time, whilst keeping all original deeds and documentation in a well-kept manner.

Sarah Pisani

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Malta in 2023 and is currently pursuing a Master of Notarial Studies.
Sarah joined the office in 2024, bringing enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to her role.
In her current position, Sarah maintains close contact with financial institutions and other competent authorities for the drafting of contracts, protecting the interests of the parties involved whilst ensuring that all terms are legally compliant.

Maraya Bajada
Front Office Administrator
Maraya joined our team in September 2022, as a front office administrator. She plays a key role in daily office operations, acting as a primary point of contact for both clients and internal staff.
Her responsibilities are broad, with emphasis on client interactions, handling their inquiries and providing timely assistance, ensuring that all interactions are efficient and client-focused.
Maraya also manages client files with attention to detail, ensuring that all documents are prepared, filed, and easily accessible when needed. She ensures that all required copies of documents are made and distributed to clients or other relevant parties in a timely manner.

Brenda Farrugia
Office Administrator
Brenda became part of our team in January 2024 and serves as the primary contact between the office and various Government entities - a responsibility that requires strong communication skills.
She also assists with a variety of routine office tasks, contributing to the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office including answering phone calls, and the processing of internal requests for documentation.
Brenda also provides administrative support to the staff in various tasks as assigned.

Pramila Baniya
Archivist
Pramila became an essential member of our team in 2024, contributing her expertise and dedication to our daily operations.
She manages our archive system, ensuring that our documents and organised are efficiently handled.
In addition to managing the physical archive, Pramila is also in charge of the digitisation of documents. She plays a key role in converting paper records into digital formats.

Santosh Adhikari
Repair and maintenance
Santosh joined the office in September 2022, bringing with him a strong sense of enthusiasm, motivation, positive energy and dedication to his role.
His prior experience in various roles and positions makes him ideal for being the person responsible for maintenance and repair. By keeping everything in working order, he helps maintain a high level of efficiency across the office.
Santosh's skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving are particularly valuable in addressing a wide range of technical issues. He approaches each challenge with a methodical and proactive attitude, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
